At Buckin’ Bass RV Park, we take pride in providing a clean, peaceful, and well-maintained environment where all guests can enjoy their stay. To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of every visitor, we kindly ask that you review and follow the rules and policies outlined below.

By staying with us, you agree to abide by these guidelines. Failure to comply may result in warnings, fines, or removal from the property without refund. Our goal is to foster a respectful community and protect the park for all who visit.

Booking & Check-in

How can I make a reservation?

Reservations are made online through our booking system. For reservations of 28 nights or more, please call us for a phone reservation at (863) 441-7275.

How far in advance can I reserve a site?

We allow reservations up to 12 months out.

Is a deposit to required to make a reservation?

Deposits:
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations made 15 to 365 days in advance.

Scheduled Deposits:

Peak Season (January 1 – March 31): The remaining balance is automatically charged 90 days prior to arrival.
Stays of 2 weeks or less: The remaining balance is automatically charged 14 days before arrival.
Stays of more than 2 weeks: The remaining balance is automatically charged 29 days before arrival.

If a reservation is made within these timeframes, the full balance is charged immediately at booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

All deposits and payments are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Because we are a small park with limited availablility, cancellations create vacancies that are difficult to fill.

We strongly recommend purchasing ResNexus Travel Protection during checkout. This optional insurance may reimburse you if you must cancel for a covered reason, such as illness, family emergency, or severe weather.

We appreciate your understanding—our small size means every site matters. Please consider travel insurance for your peace of mind.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in: between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm
Check-out: by 11:00 am

Failure to check-out by 11:00 a.m. will result in an additional night’s charge.

What should I do if I arrive after check-in hours?

We will do our best to accomidate after hours check-ins. No check-ins 30 minutes from sunset.

Do you have an Age Restriction for RVs?

We do not have a specific age requirement for RVs. Although, customer RVs must be presentable and well maintained. We reserve the right to deny service based on RV condition.

What forms of payments are accepted?

We accept cash, cashier’s checks, ACH bank transfer and debit or credit cards (online only).

Site Info & Amenities

What lot types do you have?

All of our sites are full hookup, back-in sites. They have 50/30/20 amp recepticals, city water, landscaping, and paver patios.

What amenities are available?

Our park offers 24 hour security, 10 boat slips availble for rent, a fish cleaning station, and laundry.

Is electricity and water included in my stay?

Daily and Weekly stays: Included
Monthly stays: Water included, Electricity is metered and billed (Electricy deposit is required)

Does Buckin' Bass RV Park allow pets?

Yes, provided owners keep pets leashed at all times while outside of their RV. Pets must not be left tied or otherwise unattended at any time. For the protection of, and in consideration to other persons, noisy, aggressive, vicious, unruly or poisonous pets are not allowed. Persons who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the campground and resort, or the animal may be taken to/by local animal control authorities. The owner of any pet is responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets. In addition, the owner of any pet that causes injury or damages to another is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party. We are not responsible for any injuries or damages caused by pets.

Is Wi-Fi or Cable available?

We do not offer Wi-Fi or Cable at the park. We recommend satellite/cellular internet and online TV/streaming services.

Rules & Regulations

Are there any vehicle restrictions?

Yes, one vehicle is allowed per site.

Are there any restrictions on water or electricity usage?

What are the quiet hours of the park?

Quiet hours are 9:00 pm – 7:00 am. Please be respectful of your neighbors. Anything that can be heard outside of your RV during these hours is too loud.

What are visitor hours?

Visitors are welcome between the hours of 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.

Is there an extra charge for overnight guests?

Rates are based on the number of guests specified at the time of reservation. Additional guests are allowed at a rate of $5 per person/per night. All guests 18+ must agree to the rules and regulations of the park. Unauthorized overnight guests will result in loss of payment and removal from the park.

Can I install skirting or decking on my RV?

No. Skirting and decking is not permitted at the park. Your RV must be readily movable within 24 hours notice in the event of an emergency.

Can I have storage bins under my RV?

No, storage bins, loose items, or clutter are not allowed to be stored under or around your RV. RV sites must be kept tidy and free of unnecessary items to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all guests.

Can I have outdoor furniture/pop-up canopy tents at my patio?

Exterior furnishings should be appropriate for outdoor use.Indoor furnishings including but not limited to sofas, chairs, refrigerators, freezers and kitchen tables are not permitted outside your RV.

Tents and “easy-up”-type structures are for temporary use only, and should not be relied upon rather than an awning attached to your RV.

What happens if I violate the rules of the park?

Our goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all guests. If a rule is violated, you may receive a verbal or written warning depending on the severity of the issue. Repeated or serious violations — including unsafe behavior, failure to comply with management instructions, or disturbance to others — may result in immediate removal from the park without refund. In cases of refusal to leave, law enforcement will be contacted and the RV or vehicle will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.

Extended Stays

Do you offer extended or long term stays?

Yes — we welcome guests who wish to stay for an extended period, whether for a season, a few months, or longer. However, we operate under Florida Statute Chapter 513 as a licensed recreational vehicle park. All guests are considered transient visitors and must maintain a recreational, non-residential use of the site.

Please note: This is not a permanent residence. Guests may not establish legal residency or receive mail at the park address.

How do your monthly rates work?

Our monthly rates are calendar-based, not based on a specific number of days. A monthly reservation must begin on the 1st day of the month and end on the 1st day of the following month.

Can I arrive mid-month and still get the monthly rate?

No. Monthly rates only apply to stays that begin on the 1st of the month and end on the 1st of the next month. Mid-month arrivals are billed at applicable daily or weekly rates.

Why are monthly rates calendar-based?

Monthly rates are deeply discounted and designed for full-month occupancy. This ensures fair scheduling, consistent billing, and helps us manage utilities and availability efficiently.

Can I receive packages or mail during my stay?

We accept packages only, such as deliveries from Amazon, UPS, or FedEx. Please ensure your name and site number are clearly labeled.
We do not accept regular U.S. Mail (letters, bills, postcards, etc.)
Buckin’ Bass RV Park is a recreational facility, not a residence, and mail delivery is not permitted under our park policy.
